Biopel MINI
Modern approach
The boiler is easily controlled on the control unit display, from a mobile phone or a computer.
Automatic operation
The boiler automatically controls the heating process and the necessary regulation.
Small boiler size
Biopel mini boilers are small and highly efficient.
The Biopel mini pellet boiler is 85 cm wide and 128 cm high with an output of 15 kW and a 150 kg hopper. It is suitable for family homes and is automatic, so you only need to occasionally add fuel to the tank and keep the boiler clean. It takes care of the rest. And that also applies to lighting.
Easy to use
- Online control in the basic equipment — the internet connection in the basic equipment allows the customer to control the boiler remotely and saves on boiler service costs. The service company can remotely check the parameters and settings of the boiler, without having to travel to the customer.
- Automatic ignition — Biopel mini pellet boilers are able to ignite the pellets in the burner themselves and start the boiler operation, they can also let the pellets in the burner extinguish themselves. This allows the pellet boiler to function similarly to a gas boiler and it is possible to light a fire in it remotely.
- It heats for up to a week without the need to refill pellets.
- Outdoor sensor — allows you to set the water temperature control in the boiler heating system according to the outdoor temperature and thus save on heating costs.
The Biopel MINI boiler control unit allows:
- Control of 2 mixing valves.
- Connection of 2 room thermostats to control 2 independent heating circuits.
- Connection of 5 pumps – central heating pump (CH), hot water pump (DHW), Valve pump 1, Valve pump 2, separately configurable pump.
- Equithermal control based on outdoor temperature.
- Time control of the boiler output temperature – programmable weekly operating mode.
- Heating of the storage tank using 2 temperature sensors.
- Online control of all boiler and heating circuit functions using the OPOP internet interface.
- Mobile application for phones with iOS and Android operating systems, allowing remote management of the boiler and the entire heating system.
- Updating the firmware of the control unit using the USB interface to obtain new functions.
- Works with solar panels and other heat sources.
Easy maintenance and cleaning
- Biopel mini boilers are easy to clean, the boiler exchanger is easily accessible after removing the cleaning door above the boiler exchanger. Dirt during cleaning falls into the ash pan, which can be easily removed from the boiler and cleaned. You can find out more about regular boiler maintenance in the article How to clean a solid fuel boiler.
- Easy maintenance and cleaning of the burner — Biopel mini burners are located in the front door of the boiler, which makes it easy to access the burner grate and clean it of any dirt. The burner is also equipped with a removable grate, which makes cleaning even easier.
- Easy access — Biopel mini boilers are designed so that you can easily access the control unit (control unit socket) if necessary and eliminate any malfunctions.
- If you prefer maintenance-free operation, take a look at the Biopel mini plus CA boiler, which is also equipped with compressor cleaning of the burner and exchanger and automatic ash removal.
- The boiler can be supplemented with other additional accessories that will ensure even greater comfort of its operation, operation and connection. More about the accessories offered here
Economical and ecological operation
- The boiler has a high efficiency of up to 93.7%, which ensures low heating costs.
- It has a low consumption of electricity and pellets, because it burns only as much fuel as it needs at a given time (automatic pellet boiler) and thanks to the boiler design, which allows it to transfer a large part of the heat to the exchanger.
- Low emissions (It falls into the 5th emission class, meets EKODESIGN)
- The boiler can be modulated in the power range from 30% to 100%.
Long service life
- The burner is made of durable stainless steel
- It has reliable electronic components
- 5‑year warranty on weld tightness when the boiler is installed by a trained installation company in accordance with the instructions
Space-saving and compatibility
- Tanks in variants — several tank variants can be connected to the Biopel mini boilers – compact 150, compact 225, tower or external, thanks to this offer the boiler can be adapted to the conditions of the boiler room. For example, an external hopper allows the boiler to be connected to a hopper in the next room, the tower is suitable for small spaces.
- Small compact size of the assembly — 85 cm in width for the 11 and 15 kW version with a compact 150 tank allows its placement even in smaller boiler rooms.
- Compatibility — when shipping pellet boilers, they are delivered separately packaged — boiler, burner, hopper. In the case of the Biopel mini boiler with an external hopper, there are four packages in total — boiler, burner, hopper and feeder. This system allows easy placement of the boiler in the boiler room, because all parts of the assembly can pass through a 60 cm wide door and it is not necessary to carry the weight of the entire pellet boiler set at once. In addition, the possibility of fitting the hopper with wheels ensures easier handling and fuel refilling.
- Left-right version — the boiler hopper can be placed on the right or left side of the boiler, thus adapting the set arrangement to the possibilities of the boiler room
- Intelligent hopper design — we have modified the compact hoppers so that the burner cover moves into the hole in the hopper when the hopper is opened, this concept has enabled a reduction in space requirements in the boiler room.
